Domaine St George - Chambre d'hotes Limoux

Domaine de St George has been extensively renovated but has retained many of its' original and charming features, for example the exposed beams in many of the ceilings.

The house features many items of traditional French furniture.

We are able to accommodate a maximum of 12 guests. The house is centrally heated for winter visitors.

Every guest suite has been decorated individually and are very comfortably furnished.

All are en-suite with either bath or showers.

Bath-robes, towels and toiletries are provided for your comfort as are the tea/coffee making facilities in each suite.

All suites are lockable and fitted with wall-safes.

Two bedrooms, one being a double and the other having two single beds. Both rooms are south facing and look out from their juliet balconies over the front gardens towards the majestic Pyrenees.

Orchid Suite Twin

This is a double room with a shower and looks out over the pine-tree filled garden at the side of the house beyond which are the vineyards.

An additional bed can be added at a cost of 25 euros.

This suite is elegant, spacious and bright and comprises a double room which leads through to the twin room with the large en-suite shower and toilet.

The Iris is richly decorated in colours of aubergine and cream and has uninterrupted views of our garden and the Pyrenees in the distance.

Tea & coffee making facilities are provided and this suite also has a television/video and a trouser press.

This is a light and bright small double room with en-suite shower and toilet.

It has a flat-screen television showing UK channels and is ideal for a single person or for one or two nights for two people.

The bedroom looks out over the side garden.

The 9 x 5 metre private swimming pool is fitted with solar heating and has spa jets and underwater lighting

The surrounding terrace has sun beds, tables and chairs and the Pyrenees complete the beautiful views from the pool.

Near the pool is another terrace patio with BBQ, this overlooks the extensive vineyards.

Balcony to Orchid Suite

Guests have their own private entrance from the side patio where you will find table, chairs and parasol.
This entrance leads into the newly re-fitted summer kitchen where you can prepare your own meals if you prefer to stay in and there is also everything needed for picnics including a cool-box and hamper.

This kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, crockery etc

Hair-dryers, iron and ironing board
are available for use.

There is a large drying room for ski
and water sports enthusiasts.

The south facing terrace is usually the location for meals, in cooler weather they will be taken in the dining room which opens into the sitting room with it's open log fire, very high beamed ceiling and mezzanine floor.

Car hire is available both at the airport and in Limoux.

We have secure parking for both
cars and motor-cycles.
